16 years old and excited to carry on the legacy of an ultra legend - it's Nal Jure Robič, and his name says it all. Nal's father, the late Jure Robič, was the 5-time Race Across America champion and 24-hr world record holder, amongst his many other achievements, and his life and legacy continues to inspire all of us ultra cyclists. In this episode, we have the honor of speaking with Nal about his already 8 years of cycling experience on the road and on the dirt and his future plans and ambitions for ultra cycling. We'll be joined by another ultra cycling legend from Slovenia, the one and only, Marko Baloh ultra-cyclist, an elite ultra racer, RAAM veteran, world record holder, coach, and previous guest on this show, who will be sharing his wisdom and experience as a mentor for Nal and all of us.

Let’s roll! 🚲💨

Episode Transcript

I've been an ultra-endurance athlete since 2011. Since then I've bicycled 3,000 miles across the USA to fight human trafficking, participated in the Race Across America (RAAM), ridden twice non-stop from San Jose to Los Angeles (450 miles) and once out-and-back (900 miles), and completed over 50 double centuries, earning me the title of youngest ultra cyclist ever to be inducted into the California Triple Crown Hall of Fame.
