Elena Roch won first place in the women's division of the Race Around Niederösterreich (RAN) in 2020 with a time of 22h 36m. Elena had not planned to ride RAN as her first ultra race ever, but after watching the Race Around Austria (RAA), she fell in love with the atmosphere and decided to spontaneously try to simply finish RAN. Adam Bickett competed in the Race Across America and Race Across the West. He also won the legendary “Furnace Creek 508” (now called the Silver State 508). After getting into cycling and riding many centuries and double centuries, Adam entered road racing and made it to the Cat 2 USA Cycling division and also participated in the Collegiate National Road Championships. An Olympic hopeful turned competitive ultra-cyclist, it's Ryan Collins. We'll be seeing a lot more of this 26 year old in the years to come. In just a few short years of ultra cycling, Ryan became the 2019 WUCA 12hr National Champion, World Record Holder (100 km, 200 km, & 6 hrs), and Maryland Cross State Record Holder (N to S). Louise Gibson is no ordinary single mother. Jen has recently set 8 World Ultra-Cycling Association (WUCA) world records in her 24-hr record attempt in Borrego Springs, California, grabbing the distance records of 100-, 200-, 300-, and 500-km, as well as the 100-, 200-, and 300-mile records, and also the 6 hour timed record.
